From Humble Beginnings in rural New South Wales, Millela Designer Jessica was pregnant with her fourth child and started to create elaborate headpieces for her friends within the fashion industry for photo shoots and costumes, and secured several editorial publications.

In mid 2014 she received an email to participate in her first exclusive runway show. Piece by piece she constructed a full Avante Garde Style runway production in only 6 weeks and stood backstage, heavily pregnant as she watched it all unfold. Following the show she received an invitation to partake in fashion pallete in New York but sadly had to set this aside for now due to the Soon arrival of her newest addition to the family.

Self taught Milliner/designer Jessica came from a background in interior design, but her passion was always within the fashion industry. After the excitement of her first runway show she knew that it was her time to pursue her place within the industry.

After Relocating to Newcastle with her 4 children, Jessica secured stockists both, locally and nationally and her passion continued to drive her success. In 2015 on the day of her 30th Birthday she received an welcomed invitational email to collaborate with Galia Lahav for their New York Bridal Fashion Week runway show. Jet setting to the big apple was such a highlight and a memorable time for her as this sort of thing is very far from her everyday reality. Pushing the boundaries of Bridal Fashion with Avante Garde headwear was such a rewarding experience for her.

Following her trip to New York, she worked alongside Australian Haute Couture Designer - Chachino to create a full scale haute couture runway production featuring elaborate headpieces and accessories.

Since then she has secured runway placements and editorial features in magazines around the world. She has also  worked with brands such as Berta Bridal, Enzoani, Miss Hayley Paige along with several retail companies.

Her work has been featured on the TV series Australia's Next top model and her Avante Garde pieces are much loved by celebrities and the audacious members of the fashion industry.

Her Creativity and style is what makes her brand so individual amd diverse.

In 2017 Jessica is pushing to take her brand global and has big plans in store for the coming years ahead.
